People say journalists are cynics. They are wrong. What we are is disillusioned idealists. After a decade in the newspaper business, I have come to believe that most people are good, decent individuals. Most of them are also apathetic sheep who are willing to be led around by the nose, allowing a small minority of horrible, inconsiderate and sometimes fundamentally evil individuals get away with just about anything — from using a handicapped parking space to throwing bags of puppies into woodchippers while giggling and drinking warm beer. Given that opportunity, the bad guys will do just that. So, this blog is dedicated to all the crap out there that pisses me off on a daily basis in the hopes of making some of the sheep realize there are wolves among them. Duh.
